Welcome to JM Psychotherapy
Hello, I am Julie (she/her).
I am a neurodivergent, sex-positive, pleasure- and sensory-positive psychotherapist and psychosexual therapist. I support individuals and people in sexually intimate relationships to explore and navigate their sex lives. My approach is compassionate, collaborative and guided by your individual needs, experiences and goals. Drawing on trauma-informed principles and an appreciation of neurodiversity, I recognise that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I aim to offer a safe, accepting and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood and valued. Together, we can explore your experiences, make sense of patterns, deepen self-understanding and work toward meaningful change, growth and healing at a pace that feels right for you. Sessions can be challenging but also enlightening and fun.
I specialise in supporting people with sensory differences and sensitivities, fostering greater understanding, confidence, pleasure, and satisfaction. My approach is informed by the Pleasure Framework™, a model I developed through years of clinical practice and professional training. The framework places pleasure and satisfaction at the heart of sexual wellbeing, offering an individualised and inclusive approach to exploring and enhancing sexual experiences.
